Quality control is managed directly on the farm, which allows us to sample the each crop directly on site. Cupping our coffee during the harvest on different days helps us to ensure quality before it gets to your roasters. As a single variety, single source farm, Arabica catuai is a plant that yields beans with a chocolate taste, complemented by a pleasant acidity and floral aroma and fragrance. Its balanced body makes its presence known in every cup. This allows us to test espresso quality without having to
blend other coffees along with ours.
Rancho Gotta’s quality is developed in the field and is maintained with proper processing techniques. Our roasting laboratory strengthens our knowledge and reinforces quality control of farm practices. This stage has guided us year by year, by helping us improve our coffee’s quality for European Specialty Coffee markets.
